And then I think you find out Sashenka Wenutu was actually dealing with the SDU, and maybe the Cylons too, but she seems to escape any kind of justice. The first time I played the game, without this DLC, I think I just got nukes at one point without much fanfare, but with Broken Alliance you first get to do some missions where you fight humans from the Sagitteron Democratic Union under Markus Thoon, and then Prince Stefan nukes his own people, blames the Cylons, and only THEN you get nukes. You run around blowing up Cylons until you get caught up in the Broken Alliance plot which confused me more than not. In theory, since basically you, the commander, do 99% of the actual decision making. So, Original + Broken Alliance has the Cylons start the war by somehow capturing Galactica and nuking the admiralty, which leaves Lucinda Cain in charge of the fledgling Colonial Fleet. Multiple times throughout the story I've found myself wondering if I somehow missed something. It's as if I'm missing cut-scenes or something. >!Battlestar Galactica! Skirmish mode for BSG Deadlock is primarily intended to make the game replayable as well as give you a chance to work with the ships, offensive and defensive weapons, Vipers and tactics in an effort to learn what they can do before you face off against the Cylons in the campaigns. Of course, you learn - with experience - what to expect to some degree, particularly if you learn how to read the "Dradis" blips and the actions of various ships, but it's easy to misread and that could be bad news for you. As a matter of fact, one of the most important things you will have to do is to recon the enemy to identify what you will be fighting.and you had better do it quick. ![]() However, in the main campaigns, you almost never know exactly what kind of Cylon fleet you will be facing. You can create your own Colonial and Cylon fleets to battle, but - then again - you know what fleets are going to show up because you hand-picked them. ![]() ![]() The only unknown is what battlefield you will be fighting in. In BSG Deadlock's Skirmish mode, you can select pre-assembled Colonial and Cylon fleets and battle in one of 26 randomly-selected battlefields, but you know what kind of Cylon Fleet will show up because you picked it.
